The review unit is green in color. I really love it. I think this is the first time I am reviewing a green earphones. There are actually 4 colors to choose from – Pink, Black, White and Green.

As you can see, the carrying case is not that big. It has a matching leather strap. You can remove it if you don’t like it.

And here are the earphones. It has a single physical button on it.

From the back, you can see clearly the Left and Right label.

The charging point is right at the bottom of each earphone.

As I mentioned in the unboxing video, there are 8 different pairs of eartips that you can fit. I am sure one will have the best fit. Below is the earphone without the ear tip.

Usage

Battery life:

The battery life is good. With the casing, you can extend it for a few more times. Love that the casing can be charged wirelessly.

Fitting:

It has 8 eartips that you can choose. At first, I used the conic eartips. When wearing it for a few hours, I felt a little uncomfortable on the ears. I decided to change it to the parabolic eartips. They are much more comfortable and fitting to my ears.

Disclaimer: Not all ears are the same. You have to try them out to get the best fit.

Pairing:

The procedure for pairing is easy. Once you take them out from the casing, it will start searching for a device to connect. You will be able to see the Sudio Ett in your list of nearby Bluetooth devices.

When it comes to searching for the device after pairing, it takes about 1 to 2 secs. Not too bad but I have seen faster ones from other brands.

Sound Quality:

Music-wise, I wish that the treble and bass can be a little stronger. When playing it, it sounds a little “hollow”. The volume is very soft. When playing music, I usually have to adjust my phone volume to full.

Call-wise, it is ok. I can hear the other party perfectly and the microphone is able to pick up my voice without too much ambient noise.

And as what is advertised, when a call comes in, transparency mode kicks in. It lets in some ambient noise so that you will not be talking too loudly.

I am not sure if this is good or not. I would rather have a quiet environment to listen to the other party and be conscious of the environment to control the volume of my own voice. I cannot control this feature. It is built-in.

Here are the controls available.

I wish Sudio can make an app so that we can know the battery level in each earbud, adjust the treble and bass or get a firmware update to improve it.

Summary

Love that Sudio always come up with new design with each iteration getting better. However, I believe, I am not the only one asking Sudio to invest in an app to better the experience of the user.

Price-wise, I think the Sudio Ett is on the high side. Usage-wise, they are as what was expected based on the specs.

I love the design of the Sudio Ett. I think the charging case is nice but can be a little thinner. The introduction of wireless charging is good. I can use the Reverse Charging feature on some phones to charge it.

Remember to use my code: TECHIELOBANG15 to get 15% off the retail price.

Do let me know if you have any questions about the Sudio Ett. If you need me to test out some features, let me know. Thanks.
