With COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) spreading, I think this Star Wars Virtual Run Southeast Asia 2020 will be the best way to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back safely.
There are two race distances to choose from – 5.4km or 40km. And as usual, you will need to choose a side – The Light Side or The Dark Side.
With this virtual run, you can do it on a treadmill or around your neighborhood. All you need is the MOVE Run Tracker app to participate.
Currently, the Dark Side is winning with 54.3% runners choosing it.
This Star Runs Virtual Run Southeast Asia 2020 is available in 6 countries – Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
And you can run at your own pace during the clock-in period from 4th May 2020 to 31st May 2020.
The Registration Period is from now (15th February 2020 to 30th May 2020). The fee to participate is S$25 for 5.4km and S$40 for 40km.
There is limited-edition merchandise that you can purchase too.
And not forgetting that once you completed the race, you can get the finisher trophy and for the 40km finishers, it includes the Gold Darth Vader Trophy in celebration of the 40th Year of the Empire Strikes Back.
