Singtel Launches GOMO to Compete with Other Telcos

It is not a secret that newer telcos are moving in full steam to capture the market shares here in Singapore. Singtel, being one of the oldest Telco, is not going to watch it happen without a “fight”. Check out GOMO – Get Out More Often by Singtel.

GOMO is basically a SIM only plan with easier ways to sign up and perks to keep you coming back. For S$20, you get 20GB of data, 200 minutes talktime, 200 SMS and free Caller ID. The no-contract plan works on a 30-day payment cycle and customers can link their debit or credit card for monthly payments and make instant purchases whenever additional data, text or minutes are required.

That is not bad except that it is not new in the market. In recent years, other than Singtel, M1 and StarHub, there are other telcos like Circles.Life, MyRepublic, Zero, TGP and etc.

All of them should be a threat to the older telcos in Singapore market. Check out GOMO is the Press Release below.
