All About HUAWEI P30 Series Leaked Official Pics and Zoom Capabilities

It is about 2 weeks away from the launch of Huawei latest handsets, the HUAWEI P30 Pro and HUAWEI P30, in France, Paris. As with most mobile phones, leak pictures are common as the launch date is near. However, if these photographs are genuine, we could already be seeing the actual HUAWEI P30 Series.

Picture purportedly shows the HUAWEI P30 Pro

The picture shown above could be the HUAWEI P30 Pro with 4 cameras configuration. You might wonder where is the 4th camera. From the information I gathered on the Internet, it should be the small little one just beside the 3 main cameras and below the flash.

And what will be a game changer (my opinion) is the bottom square camera (on the left). It is supposedly to be the camera with superb zoom capabilities (might be a 7x or 10x zoom).

And on the front, you will notice that it has only a little notch (DewDrop Display) instead of a big notch like the HUAWEI Mate20 Pro.

Unfortunately, I cannot confirm if they are real or not. Based on previous leak, there are some changes in the lens placement. So, nothing is confirmed until we see the real thing.

Here is a picture (see below) that might be the HUAWEI P30. Again, it has the DewDrop Display but with only 3 cameras. No details of what we have internally. Based on leak, it might have the 3.5mm audio jack port.

Really have to thank WinFuture for these leaks. They are the best!!

Next, lets see some pictures that are supposed to be taken by the HUAWEI P30 Pro.

On first look, comparing the “Normal Shot” and “Super Close Shot”, wow!! However, if you look closer, the “Super Close Shot” looks kind of blurry and not sharp.

Nevertheless, if this is from HUAWEI P30 Pro, this will be the first time I see a smart phone that is able to zoom so close to a subject from that distance. If you are guessing who the band is, they are BLUE.

But wait, maybe someone already done that. Recently, Richard Yu uploaded a picture to Weibo that many speculated that it could come from the HUAWEI P30 Pro. No prize for guessing if they are true or not.

I have to take everything with a pinch of salt because the zoomed-in picture (shown above) is from Mashable SEA and in the article, it states “This story is brought to you by Huawei Malaysia”.

And recently (just a few days ago), Huawei was “caught” passing DSLR photos as the new HUAWEI P30 series photos.

In my opinion, it is not that clear if they did it on purpose or not. They shared a series of photographs with a ring in the centre that give the impression that it is the zoomed-in portion of the picture. Many think that they are taken with latest HUAWEI P30 Series.

Anyway, someone found out that they are stocked pictures and from DSLR instead of a mobile phone. This is an example.

Huawei immediately updated Verge with these statements: –

We’ve been made aware that there might have been some misunderstanding regarding our recent HUAWEI P30 Series teaser posters. We would like reiterate that those are, in fact, only teaser posters, and are only intended to hint at the unique new features that will come with the HUAWEI P30 Series. Huawei has acquired the licenses to the original images and the posters are artistic renditions of said features only.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the media for their interest in our posters. We have much to announce in the coming weeks. Please stay tuned!
