A SENSE-TINGLING EXPERIENCE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Singapore, November 2018 – Sentosa 4D AdventureLand is proud to present the newest attraction on the block – Haunted Mine Ride 4D. Fully motion-simulated and highly sensorial, this immersive attraction promises a thrilling good time for the whole family. Haunted Mine Ride 4D will be officially launched in November and joins the other rides currently housed in the interactive entertainment zone at Imbiah Lookout, Sentosa.

Commenting on the launch of the new ride, Dato’ A. Yogesvaran, Managing Director and CEO of Sentosa 4D AdventureLand, says, “As traffic to Sentosa continues to increase, we as island partners continue to work closely with Sentosa Development Corporation in our commitment to innovate and offer exciting attractions that elevate the visitor experience. The addition of Haunted Mine Ride 4D introduces a fresh and thrilling theme to AdventureLand – the ultimate family-friendly destination.”

And without a doubt, adventure seekers from 3 – 100 will love this! Plunge headfirst into an dilapidated and seemingly abandoned gold mine. Traverse the exhilarating twists and turns inside the deserted cave, escape narrowly from falling boulders and crash into unshackled carts bumping you around the abandoned tracks. Get spooked by bats as you venture deeper and encounter fiery pits of the sacred grounds hidden within.

Expect specially designed multi-sensory effects like fog, smoke, lighting, wind, leg-tickler and motion etc. that make the physical theatre experience incredible, bringing you fully into the world of the haunted mine – and leave you wanting for more.

Joining an already impressive variety of experiences on offer, Haunted Mine Ride 4D brings a yet-to-be-seen spooky element to the table. Wide screens, state-of-the-art sound systems and quality cabin technology recreate the outdoor ride experience with ultimate immersion at maximum comfort.

If this spooky adventure ride gets your adrenaline pumping, try Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, where you can look forward to racing alongside Dwayne Johnson in a 4D movie experience. If you prefer something more tactile, try your hand at Desperados, an interactive shoot-out game set in the Wild West that is the first of its kind in Asia, only at 4D AdventureLand. A motion-simulated alternative to Haunted Mine Ride 4D is Extreme Log Ride, a virtual ‘roller-coaster’ that takes you through gushing ravines and steep valleys.

Unlike most attractions, while there is a minimum height requirement of 90cm for children to be seated alone, toddlers below the height requirement can still enjoy the ride while strapped in on their parents’ laps.
