Just by looking at the specs and the price point, it is a decent phone. It has is the features that most flagship smartphones should have in 2018.
- Multiple rear cameras with good specs
- Fast charging
- Large battery capacity (larger than OnePlus 6 by 23% although some brands are having even bigger battery capacity)
- Big internal storage (up to 256GB).
- In-screen fingerprint
- Face Unlock
Looking at the media coverage in the US, it seems that OnePlus 6T is the first in-screen display phone launched in US. For other markets (Asia and Europe), I guess this is not so new as there are already a few flagship phones having it.
BTW, if you need wireless charging, water resistant, external storage, and 3.5mm phone jack, there are none of these on this phone.
Watching the event on YouTube, I think what is interesting will be the NightScape mode and the Portrait Lighting. I am also interested to see how fast the in-screen fingerprint sensor is. Based on what I have read, the fingerprint sensing seems to get better as you use it more.
Looking forward to trying out the OnePlus 6T if I can get my hand on one.
