Xiaomi Introduces Mi Mix 3 with 10GB RAM

Xiaomi has launched the 3rd generation Mi Mix phone – Mi Mix 3 in China. Unlike the previous versions (which has a front-facing camera on the bottom), the Mi Mix 3 has a slider for the front-facing camera, allowing the phone to achieve a 93.4% screen-to-body ratio.

Here is the Mi Mix 3 with the slider pushed up. Unlike OPPO Find X, the Mi Mix 3 slider is manual. There is no automatic mechanism. When you need it, you will need to push it out, just like the old slider phones in the olden days.

The Mi Mix 3 pricing starts from RMB 3,299 (6GB RAM, 238GB storage – S$656) to RMB 4,999  (Forbidden City Special Edition Gift Box – 10GB RAM, 256GB storage – S$994).

This is the Forbidden City Special Edition Gift Box 小米MIX 3 故宫特别版礼盒. It comes with 10W wireless charger, phone cover, Internet Access card, 24K gold statue and the special edition Mi Mix 3.

The 6.39-inch AMOLED screen Mi Mix 3 has a dual rear camera (12MPX + 12 MPX) and dual front camera (24 MPX + 2MPX). It is using Snapdragon 845 processor with an internal battery of 3,200 mAh. And as with other phone makers, Xiaomi has added AI into the OS.

Sales of this phone will start from 1st November.
