If you have been in Singapore for the past few days, I am sure you have heard about the #TrumpKimSummit, the Airforce One, the Beast, the bodyguards, and of course, United States President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jung-un (Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea).
Or you might have heard about Howard X or Dennis Alan, the fake Kim Jung-un and Donald Trump respectively, who had been in the limelight because of this event.
Many are in awe because this is the first time, Kim Jung-un has traveled so far outside North Korea and the first time, Donald Trump visits Singapore as the President of United States (POTUS). And the fact that both of them are in Singapore right now and the number of cars in their convoy is insane.
I have to make this post a memorable one and non-political in nature. So, let’s start with something interesting.
The Beast – The US President’s Transport
This is the main mode of transport that US President travels whether in the US or outside of US. There are two of them (as a decoy or precaution?).
Copied from Wikipedia:
The current model of presidential state car is a unique Cadillac built upon a medium-duty truck platform. The car is equipped with many life-saving, offensive, and defensive measures, and is built to the United States Secret Service’s standards.
What is more interesting is the person driving it. From my understanding, the driver is from the Secret Service and has to undergo special training for it. Check out this video of The Beast being driven in reverse. It is freaking powerful!
The North Korea Bodyguards
They have been one of the highlights since the first significant meeting with South Korea’s President more than a month ago. Now, they are in Singapore.
Here is an excerpt from BBC about them:
The bodyguards running alongside Mr Kim’s limousine and those who walk in close proximity to him are part of something called Central Party Office #6, or formally, it’s known as the Main Office of Adjutants.
And do you know how many vehicles are there in the convoy for KJU? 43 of them. Thanks to Reuters, here is the list.
What is interesting in this convoy is the Fire and Medical Response vehicle (FMV). I believe this is the first time I have seen it on official business.
Read all about it at Hardwarezone. It is a hybrid of a fire engine and an ambulance.
The Real Trump and Kim Summit
Chance upon them at Bugis Junction on Sunday (10th June 2018). They are the fakes or impersonators of Kim Jung-un (real name is Howard X from Hong Kong) and Donald Trump (real name is Dennis Alan).
They are here in Singapore from an invitation of a company. At the same time, they are here to entertain us (at a cost). To take a picture with them, it will cost you S$15. And I think many did not mind.
That is it. Let’s see what both of them (the real ones) can do or discuss to change the world. Here is a selfie that is going to shock the world (technically speaking, someone took this picture for them).
