Most Advance Google Assistant, Google Duplex

If you are having fun asking questions on your Google Assistant, it is going to get better. Google introduces Google Duplex, a new technology for conducting natural conversations to carry out “real world” tasks over the phone.

At this moment, what Google Duplex does is that it will call out to businesses to perform tasks like booking a restaurant or asking the opening hours of the business in the most natural way ever.

I am surprised at how advanced the Google Duplex is. It can ask questions, wait for responses and use AI to answer those questions. And the best part is that it mimics the way a human speaks, pausing in-between sentences and using “ar”, “eh” in the sentences.

This summer, we’ll start testing the Duplex technology within the Google Assistant, to help users make restaurant reservations, schedule hair salon appointments, and get holiday hours over the phone.

I don’t think it can speak Singlish yet. Anyway, it is a product in development. Really looking forward to the day that you can converse with your digital assistant naturally.
