Intel Vaunt is the new Smart Glasses (Video)

If you think wearing the Google Glass is a little awkward, I believe Intel thinks so. They have developed a new prototype smart glasses – Intel Vaunt – that looks like normal glasses but pack with technology on it.

At first glance, you won’t even notice that it is a smart glasses. In fact, in my opinion, it looks really good. On the inside (or by the side), it has a laser projector that projects a monochrome image onto the glasses which bounce back to your eye. So, information is like floating in front of you.

The Vaunt weighs just 50grams and has a battery life of 18 hours. What I think is the best is that you can wear it normally even when the battery is dead.

What I feel right about the Intel Vaunt Smart Glasses is that it is built for daily usage. If you have been wearing glasses, it will be a nice fit.

Moreover, Intel knows the problem of excessive information and built this smart glasses to show only when needed.

I am not sure how well this will go. Hopefully, consumers can get a pair soon. I want one!
