Devialet Unveils Largest Asia Flagship at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore

Tripling the square footage of the original store after just 3 months, responding to customer demand and aggressive regional expansion

Singapore, November 2017 – Having opened an average of one store per month in Asia over the last six months, iconic French audio brand, Devialet, officially unveiled a new 1,000 square feet store at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. This marks Devialet’s 7th and largest store in the region – bringing the incredibly powerful and emotional experience of its revolutionary products to an even wider audience.

“Devialet is constantly working towards delivering the emotion of the best sound in the world, to as many people as possible,” said Quentin Sannie, CEO, Devialet. “Singapore is one of the most influential cities in the world with strong international and regional connections. Opening the largest retail store in Marina Bay Sands – one of the most iconic and exciting locations – is for us a way of showcasing our commitment to our global partners and building towards our vision of making great sound accessible not just in Asia, but around the world.”

Sannie added, “The goal is to be in 30 main cities around the world in the coming years. In Asia, Singapore and Hong Kong were our first targets, and we also have a cabin in Taipei 101. In the near future, we’re hoping to open stores in Seoul and Tokyo and eventually, mainland China.”

The newly expanded Marina Bay Sands store will feature two listening rooms, each acoustically-treated to create the perfect conditions for experiencing the physical impact of Phantom’s ultra-dense sound. Devialet is inviting everyone to come in and make the experience their own – whether it’s settling in to listen to your favourite song, catching a movie screening, or attending a masterclass event – the new Marina Bay Sands store will be a meeting place for the community to explore, listen, feel, and create.

This latest flagship opening comes on the back of several world-firsts announced by Devialet this year, including a 10-year partnership with the Opéra National de Paris, with which it will inaugurate a sound discovery room in the Opéra’s Palais Garnier; a new concept car with French carmaker, Renault, where Devialet will engineer the audio experience; and a partnership with UK entertainment company, Sky, to create the Sky Soundbox – a bespoke, all-in-one sound system which complements Sky’s TV set-top-box, to create the most comprehensive in home entertainment system.
