After waiting for a long time (about 2 months – to me, it is considered a long time), I finally got the availability date and price of the Ninebot Mini Pro for Singapore market. Since Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi Ninebot Mini, I have been searching locally for the official contact that will bring it to Singapore. Unfortunately (or fortunately), the Ninebot Mini is meant for China market only. While researching, I got to know that Ninebot actually built another version for the International market, the Ninebot Mini Pro, and Singapore is one of the six countries that will get it first.
After contacting some local contacts, a few journalists and myself finally made it to Ninebot Asia office (in Singapore) to test out the real thing. Check out my initial impression here. At that time, we did not know the pricing and availability of the Mini Pro.
Finally, I got the information yesterday that the shipment is on the way to Singapore. And for those who had registered their interest via the Lazada’s website, they were given a preview and privilege to buy the Mini Pro at a special price during the event.

That is it. The special price is S$999 and the usual retail price is S$1,290. I am sure many will say that the price is very steep, especially if you compare it with Xiaomi Ninebot Mini. However, the specs for Ninebot Mini Pro is different from Ninebot Mini. Check this comparison chart.
