Skyscanner “Find Your Way” on Apple Watch

Today should be labeled as Apple Watch Day in Singapore. It is the start of  the sales of Apple Watch in Singapore. At the same time, Skyscanner announced an interesting app extension of their Skyscanner app that can make full use of the Apple Watch (actually the global released was in April).

Just get the latest Skyscanner app on App Store and when paired properly with an Apple Watch, it should display “Find Your Way” feature. With this feature, any hotel that you add as favorite via the Skyscanner app will appear on the Apple Watch. From the Apple Watch, you can see the maps, get the direction and estimated timing to the hotel.

Here is the Press Release with more details.

Skyscanner’s Hotel App Extension ‘Find Your Way’ for Apple Watch Lands in Singapore

24 JUNE 2015 – Travellers in Singapore will now easily be able find their way back to their hotel with the help of ‘Find Your Way’, Skyscanner’s extension to its popular hotel app for the Apple Watch, which arrives in Singapore this Friday, 26 June 2015.

Launched globally in April 2015, ‘Find Your Way’ provides travellers with directions back to their hotel when in their destination, via their Apple Watch, and is Skyscanner’s first ever wearable app release.

Once a traveller ‘favourites’ a hotel within the Skyscanner app on their iPhone, they can then sync with their Apple Watch to access the direction service via their Apple Watch.

The watch will display the hotel name and estimated time it will take to walk back to the hotel as well as the hotel address and phone number.
