Win prizes in Toyota Instagram contest at Singapore Motorshow 2015

Want to feel Waku Doki at Singapore Motorshow 2015? You will have to check out the Toyota Waku Doki Booth at the Singapore Motorshow 2015 that is ongoing till Sunday. At the Toyota booth, you can also take part in their Instagram contest and win prizes (40 prizes to be won. Winners will be announced in Bi-hourly basis).

The picture above is the Waku Doki tree. Waku Doki is one of the key pillars for Toyota that drives the R&D for many of their new releases. It is essentially the feeling of Joy, Excitement and Happiness, but at an elevated state.

From my understanding, in 2015, you will see a lot of initiatives from Toyota in their releases and engagements that will be driven by this Waku Doki feeling.

Instagram Contest

The Toyota Waku Doki Singapore Instagram contest is up and running throughout the duration of the MTA Motorshow (15-18 Jan). To participate, public simply need to snap a photo at the Waku Doki booth, set their Instagram accounts to public, and hashtag #wakudokisg and tag @toyotasingapore.

The photo with the most Waku Doki poses or the most likes within that time frame will win the prize. Winners are selected and announced on a bi-hourly basis so there’s lots of chances to win the prizes throughout the motorshow. 40 prizes in total to be given away.

The prizes are a choice between:

  1. Voucher for Callaway Golf Swingmaster analysis session worth $100 (Total 20)
  2. Amore Holistic Trial Package worth $383.22 (Total 20)
    • 2 weeks Unlimited Fitness Pass
    • 45mins Botaroma Swedish Massage
    • Body Composition Analysis
    • This package also includes:
      • One-time Registration Fees & Processing Fees
      • Inclusive of all Aerobics classes, StretchFit®, Kickboxing, Yoga, Power Yoga, Pilates, Jazz, Hip Hop, MTV, CardioLatino®, all Blitz™ classes.
      • Usage of gym, locker, shower and steam bath facilities.

Not forgetting the real cars, you can check out the Hybrid (Prius & Prius C). But my all time favorite at the booth is the 2L RAV4.

Unfortunately, there is no new car announcement from Toyota in this Motorshow. Most of the models are already on the road. If you are interested in any of the existing models, you should visit and have a discussion with them.

One of the most interesting items at the booth is the new Infotainment system, InTouch. It will be launched later this year and should be available as a standard in almost all new cars released after the launch.

It has GPS incorporated and it is using HERE maps which I believe can be updated periodically. There is no fixed date or pricing for this 7-inch (2-din) touch screen unit but if available, it will be able to complement your driving needs.

With InTouch, other than calling (via Bluetooth), you can also use miracast to your phone so that music or video can be streamed across. There are also physical ports (mini HDMI, USB port) on it.

Finally, you can also ask questions about the cars with the friendly showgirls….
