It is the 49th Birthday for Singapore (9th August). If you compare with other countries, our history is relatively short. Nevertheless, the progress that we made is all that matters. There was once I heard from someone I respected who said that whoever that are born in Singapore are blessed. Although recently there were so much talk about unhappiness in this small country (inflation and etc), spare a minute to see what we have achieved and how fortunate we are to be here. Happy Birthday Singapore!!
