Canon unveils the eye-catching IXUS 155 ahead of Singapore IT Show
SINGAPORE, 18 February 2014 – Canon has launched the IXUS 155, its latest ultra-compact camera, just in time for Singapore’s IT Show on 27 February to 2 March, 2014. The IXUS 155 takes 20-megapixel resolution photos with the improved DIGIC 4+ image processor and is available in the season’s hottest dazzling blue colour, as well as silver and burnished pink.

Sophistically Designed for High Performance
Dressed in a smooth aluminum front cover with a special mirror treatment around its lens, the IXUS 155 features a 20-megapixel CCD sensor with 10x optical zoom which can be doubled to 20x with ZoomPlus technology.
Powered by Canon’s DIGIC 4+ imaging processor, the improved Intelligent IS assures the user of crisp, sharp images and videos. Blurred images caused by shaky hands will be a thing of the past. Improved startup and Auto Focus (AF) speeds significantly reduce shooting time lag, and AUTO mode for full resolution allows for continuous shooting until the SD card memory is full. The new IXUS 155 is also capable of capturing High Definition (HD) videos at 25p.
The IXUS 155 also incorporates the Smart Auto feature which allows the camera to automatically assess up to 32 scenes (such as Sunset, Backlit, or even moving subjects) and automatically adjust the exposure to capture that perfect shot.

The new IXUS 155 is available in blue, silver and pink colors and is available from 27 February at Canon authorised dealers at a recommended retail price of S$199.
