Google Smart Contact Lens measures Glucose levels targeting Diabetics

This Smart Contact Lens is really a good project, especially for people suffering from diabetes. Imagine, you can take out your smartphone, open an app and let the Smart Contact Lens measure your glucose level.

In their blog post, they also mentioned that they are exploring to embed LED lights in the contact lens so that it will glow if the threshold level is breached. However, this project still needs time and partnerships with other experts to become a reality.
