Meta wants to put Ironman JARVIS computing in Meta Pro eyewear (video)

If you have watched Ironman, you should be familiar with J.A.R.V.I.S. It is the “brain” behind Ironman suit with its AR and computing power. Now, this company, Meta, wants to put something similar into a pair of eyewear.

Check out Meta Pro. It has a screen that is 15 times the size of Google Glass and in my opinion, it is like a Kinect and motion sensors all strapped into one small unit.

The team behind this Meta Pro is very impressive. I copied this from The Verge

By all means, Meta has the names it’ll need to start down that road. Wearable computing pioneer Steve Mann signed on as the company’s chief scientist, and augmented reality pioneer Steven Feiner is one of its advisors. Perhaps more immediately captivating, it’s also hired Jayse Hansen, the designer behind Tony Stark’s incredible holographic interfaces in the first and third movies, to create a UI just like the Iron Man suit’s for Meta’s glasses.

So, if you are willing to part away US$3,650, you might get the Meta Pro glasses in July 2014. And behind every new OS or new device, there must be apps. Currently, Meta has an app store of 500 plus apps. It is going to increase since there is a cheaper version (META.01 Developer Edition) at US$667 (also available in the same time frame) for developer to play with it.

BTW, before you start pressing the Pre-Order button, you should know that this Meta Pro is wired to a pocket computer and it will only work when attached to it. This picture below is a render of the computer.
