Samsung Collaborates with Leading Artists to Launch
Exclusive Art Cover Collection in Singapore
Singapore – 22 November 2013 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in digital media and convergence technologies, has partnered with Southeast Asia’s leading artists to launch an Art Cover collection exclusively for Samsung GALAXY devices. With this collection, consumers can now select their favourite artist-designed mobile covers that bring out their individual styles and personalities.
“The smartphone has become a very personal item to consumers and they are looking for ways to customize their smart devices to reflect their unique tastes and creativity. Understanding this, Samsung has partnered with local talented artists to introduce an exclusive Art Cover collection that enables Samsung GALAXY users to enjoy a personalized and unique range of mobile covers that they can pick and choose to suit their lifestyles,” said Irene Ng, Vice-President, Marketing, Samsung Asia Pte Ltd.
Samsung has collaborated with 19 renowned artists throughout Southeast Asia to develop this distinct line of lively and expressive GALAXY covers, including Singapore’s very own MessyMsxi, Anngee, Ben Qwek, Fleecircus, Eeshaun and Keith Nakamura. They span various themes such as illustration, whimsical, graffiti street art, vintage, pop art – each reflecting the artist’s personal styles and stories. More artists are slated in the upcoming weeks.
Further empowering consumers to express their creativity, Samsung will be launching a new service in mid December that enables GALAXY users to create their very own personalized Art Covers. To do this, users just need to upload their favourite digital photographs or sketches onto the Samsung Art Cover website or mobile application, select the desired device cover and the personalized Art Cover will be delivered right to their doorsteps.
Samsung’s Art Cover collection will be available for GALAXY S III, GALAXY S4 With LTE, GALAXY Note II LTE and GALAXY Note 3 at www.SamsungArtCover.com/sg from US$24.95 to US$29.95 while the personalized Art Covers start at US$29.95 to US$34.95.
