Some call it hideous, some like it. These colorful shells might be the future budget Apple iPhone that had been rumored about for months. In my opinion, if this is real, it might just be part of Apple’s marketing strategy to put an iPhone in everyone’s hand. This strategy has been nicely executed by its rival, Samsung and also distant rival, Nokia.
What I am interested to see is how Apple can handle the user experience if the budget iPhone has a lower specs, and how it can control the apps that are going to run on this budget iPhone. I suspect the budget iPhone might not be very low-end after all (if they wanted to sustain the user experience found in current iPhones).
