celluon Epic* Mobile Projection Keyboard at CommunicAsia 2013 (video)

Check out this Epic* mobile projection keyboard from celluon, Korea. Although such projection keyboard has been around for years, it seems that it is getting better and smaller.

This Epic* mobile projection keyboard uses Bluetooth to communicate. That means many devices with Bluetooth will be able to make use of it.

The concept is simple. A projection will show the keyboard and the built in camera will detect the movement. It has a built in battery but I did not ask how long it will last.

Here is the demo setup. A tablet that is communicate via Bluetooth with Epic* mobile projection keyboard.

In the video, you can see that the keyboard can turn on just by using 3 fingers to tap on the surface. And the brightness and “click” volume can be adjusted using the Fn key and the Arrow keys.
