#FreeMyInternet movement in Singapore has started

Today, Singapore bloggers are joining hands to bring across a message to our Singapore Government. They have blacked out their blogs for a day to bring across a message to our Government. By insisting that setting up the Licensing rules by the MDA (Media Development Authority) is for the good of our people, our Government has indirectly killed the freedom of Internet.

Although this is a Technology blog, I have tried my very best to bring Singapore Technology news to the world. Indirectly, this rule might just kill my passion to blog about Singapore.

I will join the movement starting from 2:30am so that people can read this post.

And to join the cause, you can download the #FreeMyInternet Plugin (WordPress) to black out your site.

As you can see from the image, there will be a peaceful protest at Hong Lim Park from 4pm to 7pm on the 9th June 2013. Feel free to join the rest in sending a message to our beloved Singapore Government.

Counting down to 2:30am…
