SKarf started off as a 4 members group. Since the recent departure of its Korean member, SOL, Alpha Entertainment has added 2 more members to become a 5 members group (Tasha (Singaporean), Ferlyn (Singaporean), Jenny, Hana and JooA).

Samsung Adds Popular Singaporean-Korean K-Pop Group, SKarf, to its Line-up of Celebrity Ambassadors for GALAXY Camera
SKarf to stay constantly connected with fans by capturing and sharing images and videos instantaneously with the Samsung GALAXY Camera
Singapore, 2 January 2013 – Samsung today announced that up-and-coming K-Pop girl group, SKarf, is the latest addition to its line-up of celebrity ambassadors for the Samsung GALAXY Camera, which currently includes charismatic MediaCorp artiste, Desmond Tan.
Announced at a meet-and-greet and fan-signing session held at Bugis+ today, this partnership brings good news to fans as they will get to catch glimpses of the group in behind-the-scenes snapshots taken by the girls. With the Samsung GALAXY Camera, the girls will be able to take snapshots of their daily lives, upload and share weekly updates via Samsung Mobile Singapore Facebook page (www.facebook.com/SamsungMobileSingapore) to stay in touch with fans.
Having debuted in August this year, SKarf members include both Singaporeans and Koreans, injecting a breath of fresh air to the K-Pop world with their catchy songs ‘Oh! Dance’ and ‘My Love’. Their debut was highly anticipated as this is the first time Singaporeans are part of a K-Pop group. Samsung is heartened by the girls’ endeavour to achieve excellence in music and entertainment, and most importantly how they are a representation of diverse cultures coming together to pursue their passion for music.

‘Shop in Gangnam’ with SKarf and share experiences with the GALAXY Camera
As part of the Samsung ‘I Was There’ campaign, one lucky fan was chosen as a “Samsung reporter”, to enjoy a shopping spree with SKarf in Gangnam, Seoul on 27 December 2012. Interesting photo highlights of fun moments taken while they shopped and dined were captured using the Samsung GALAXY Camera and shared on Samsung Mobile Singapore Facebook page (www.facebook.com/SamsungMobileSingapore).
50 Samsung fans who liked, shared and commented on photos posted of the shopping experience in Seoul, won a pair of tickets and special SKarf postcard each, to meet SKarf and have their postcards signed at the meet-and-greet event. At this event, the group performed their hit songs, played interactive games with fans and also took photos of the event with the Samsung GALAXY Camera.
From now till 28 January 2013, Samsung fans can continue to log onto Samsung Mobile Singapore Facebook page to like, share and comment on photo highlights posted as part of the ‘I was There’ campaign, to win two Samsung GALAXY Cameras.
Share extraordinary adventures with Samsung’s ‘I Was There’ campaign
Samsung’s ‘I Was There’ campaign, launched in Singapore in December 2012 hosts a series of online activities on Samsung Mobile Singapore Facebook page. Samsung fans can participate in these activities to win opportunities to embark on various extraordinary adventures relating to food, fashion, music, travel, shopping and sports. Key highlights of these adventures are then captured by the Samsung GALAXY Camera and posted on Facebook for fans to like, comment on and share with others.
Another upcoming activity Samsung fans can look forward to is an opportunity to get up close and personal with MediaCorp artiste Desmond Tan, capturing interesting moments shared with him on the Samsung GALAXY Camera.
