WD (Western Digital) unveils its latest dual-band routers in Singapore. They are My Net N900 Central, My Net N900, My Net N750 and My Net N600. They will be available in Singapore from middle of this month (mid-December). Pricing is in the Press Release.
According to the PR, the latest WD My Net family of dual-band routers are designed specifically to accelerate movies, video and gaming, delivering high-definition entertainment experience. And its FasTrack technology can instantly detects entertainment traffic on the network and fast-forwards it to gaming consoles, media players, smart TVs, tablets, smartphones, computers and other Wi-Fi connected devices.
My question now will be what will happen if you have a fibre optics connection that already has a Wireless router provided by the company. So far, the only thing I can think of is to bridge the network. What do you think?
