BOOST YOUR SHOPPING EXPERIENCE WITH JURONG POINT’S PERSONAL MOBILE CONCIERGE APPLICATION
SINGAPORE, 8 OCTOBER 2012 – Jurong Point Shopping Centre, the largest suburban retail mall in Singapore, today announced the launch of the Jurong Point app (also referred to as My JP), a personal mobile concierge application. My JP is specifically designed to enhance the shopping experience by putting real-time information, assistance and interactive tools at the shopper’s fingertips.
My JP: your smart digital shopping assistant
My JP enables shoppers to personalise their profiles based on their interests and preferences. So whether if you are looking for the latest fashion item, the best deal at your favourite restaurant or simply just window shopping, My JP will be able to provide shoppers with an enjoyable experience.
Key features of My JP include:
- Treasure Hunt
A unique feature that allows shoppers to participate in a virtual Treasure Hunt by searching for quick response (QR) codes at the participating stores. Shoppers can redeem for vouchers at the mall’s customer service counters once they’ve completed the Treasure Hunt.
- In-mall navigation
The in-mall navigation map provides a detailed point-to-point recommended route that helps to guide shoppers to their desired stores or location within Jurong Point Shopping Centre. It also includes a wheelchair-friendly feature which can locate wheelchair access points around the mall.
- Latest Buzz & MY JP
‘Latest Buzz’ shows users ongoing mall promotions and events, while ‘My JP’ provides a personalised list of recommended deals based on the shopper’s profile settings.
- SHIOK! Card
Shoppers can refer to the SHIOK! card tab for information on the mall’s loyalty programme as well as a list of offers from participating stores.
My JP is currently only available on the iOS and can be downloaded for free from the Apple iTunes store.
Jurong Point is also working on additional features of the application to include car park locator features and a social customer relationship management (CRM) programme to facilitate digital tenant-shopper interactions. My JP for Android will also be launched later this year.
My JP project is supported by the Mobility Solutions Call-for-Collaboration (CFC), led by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) in collaboration with SPRING Singapore, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and NTUC’s Employment and Employability Institute (e2i).
