Second multi-brand electronics concept store dovetails success of the personal shopper concept in an even bigger way

Singapore, February 24, 2012 – If you think you will be lost in an IT store as big as 10 four-room flats, Digital Style will show you how to get exactly what you want. Newstead Technologies today announced the launch of Digital Style, its largest multi-brand electronics concept store at 9,000 square feet at Jurong Point #B1-92/93.

The opening follows the proven success of the company’s new concept that provides a comprehensive consumer-centric and experiential retail experience. The concept store promises a stress-free environment where shoppers can compare brands at ease and test-drive them at six solution corners namely Entertainment & Media, Gaming, Home Computing, Mobile Communications, Office & Professional and Ultra Mobile & Business.

Unconventional approach a hit with shoppers

Newstead Technologies debuted the first Digital Style at Funan DigitaLife Mall in September 2011. The store marks its bold departure from the industry practice of categorising products by brands. Instead, consumer needs are key and products are categorised according to functions and specifications at different solution corners. The store is also specially designed to allow shoppers to easily mix-and-match and plug-and-play the gadgets in-store.

This unconventional approach is an instant hit with shoppers. “We are elated that the new concept is well received by our customers.
