SMS Bug on Windows Phone Reboots Phone, Disables SMS, Hard Reset Needed (Video)

Bad news for Windows Phone users. There is a SMS bug lurking in the Windows Phone OS. Once the bug hits, it will reboot itself and disable SMS. So you cannot access your SMS hub at all. Only a hard reset will help (to me it is as good as no help).

The worst part is that if you pin someone on the main menu as a live tile and received the SMS with the code in it, it will freeze if the tile turned to display the code. And if this person post it on Facebook or Twitter, it will also do the “trick”.

There is no solution yet. So, pray hard that your friend don’t send you this SMS. Don’t ask me how it looks like.

Here is a video of it in action.
