CF Card Reader for iPad and iPad 2 – Video Within

Finally, someone has come out with a connection kit for reading CF card. As a photographer, we always wanted to backup our data (images, video). iPad seems to be the perfect choice. However, it does not have any connection kit for CF cards (until now).

For photographers who are using DSLR that supports CF card only, this is a very good news. I think the iPad is thin enough to slot into camera bags or backpack and at the same time, it has a large screen for you to view the high res images.

Too bad, it cannot read full HD video (as shown in the video) taken from a Canon EOS 5D Mark II.

This card reader from M.I.C. can read CF card and comes with a USB port. It will retail at US$29.90 and shipping from 25th April.

Some details of this CF Card Reader for iPad and iPad 2

CF Card Reader for iPad & iPad 2

PS: The CF Card reader supports photo and video import even Canon EOS 5D Mark II but it’s a pity that the iPad built-in video player can’t playback the video encode from 5D Mark II . You may have to download 3rd party apps to play them in your iPad. Somebody please notify Steve Jobs on this problem.
