Skype apparently is very sincere in their apology over the outage recently. They actually send out e-voucher for customers to redeem. I am also one of them.

To redeem, you will need the voucher redemption code. It was sent to me via email.  The title is

Sorry for any inconvenience

In it, there are steps to redeem this free telephony voucher. I got mine credited almost immediately. I still love my Skype and those with iPhone can even do video call now!

Thank you, Skype, for the voucher although I know many people are frustrated with the outage. 🙂 Nevertheless, you did the right thing to rectify the situation and provide the solution.
