Finally, pictures of Sony Ericsson Playstation Phone appeared on the internet. It looks similar to those mock up we have seen.
This PSP phone has the usual familiar Sony PSP buttons. But it seems that there is a multi-touch pad at the center (according to Engadget).
It may have: –
- 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655
- 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM
- Screen size range of 3.7 to 4.1 inches
- Camera with flash
- Multitouch Pad
- MicroSD card slot
- Custom Marketplace for Games
- Android 3.0 (Gingerbread)
According to Engadget, the prototype phone is not stable and is very bare (with no overlay of Timescape interface). I wonder what is Sony Ericsson’s strategy given that their Xperia series of phones are still on Android 1.6.
