Volkswagen latest slogan, Think Blue, was all over at Auto China 2010. One of the attraction, in my opinion, is this VW Bik.e. It is a folding electric bike that you can easily put into a car trunk (demonstrated in the video). I think that the design is sleek and with its light weight, it will definitely appeal to many. However, I doubt it will be able to get approval in Singapore.
As you can see, there is no pedal. Just a electric bike that you can store away. In Singapore, electric bicycle is already regulated. No electric bicycle that can move without pedaling is allowed in Singapore. Therefore, this VW Bik.e will just have to be a dream to be on Singapore road. Here is the video.
