Bloom Energy organized a Press Event at eBay Headquarters in San Jose, CA. My guess will be Bloom Box will be the “NEXT BIG THING”. In my opinion, it has been a while that someone has come up with a brilliant technology that seems to be efficient and green. We can forget about Wind or Solar type of technology at the moment. With Bloom Box, it seems to answer many questions on green technology.
A few days ago, I posted about this Bloom Box. It immediately draws to me that this solution seems so feasible and appealing to big corporates. At that moment, there isn’t much explanation on how the systems (or Bloom Energy called it Server) can be cascaded to work seamlessly. Now, here is the diagram to show how it actually works.
BTW, this is how one Bloom Energy Server Fuel Cell looks like.
It becomes clear that they are building Bloom Boxes like server. The more energy you need, the more Bloom Energy Servers. Each Bloom Energy Server is about the size of a carpark lot.

BTW, Google is their first customer and Google has been very secretive over it. There are others like Walmart, eBay and etc.

I really hope that this technology can work. Small foot print and green. Plus, with heavy hitters like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Collin Powell (one of the board of Directors), Larry Page from Google, eBay, WalMart and etc, I think this will be the talk for a few days.
