Thanko has come up with a 80-port USB charger that can provide power to 80 USB ports while plugging to the power supply. I wonder who would need this 80-port USB charger. In my opinion, I really think they don’t spend much time designing it and with a power supply (or step down transformer) that is needed in order to use it, the overall look is ugly. BTW, it is retailing at USD164.
To me, the price is steep and the design department ought to spend more time to make it better. You will know why I say so with the below pictures.
It looks like a school project. What do you think?
