This is one innovative way to ensure that you will get GPS with any handset you have. Sagem Orga has produced a A-GPS enabled SIM card that relatively provide an inexpensive means of opening up market for Location Based services to a wide market.
Sagem Orga had teamed up with BlueSky Positioning to integrate the A-GPS into the SIM card. It incorporated a GPS receiver and an antenna into the SIM Card. However, with this new SIM card, the operator can track you anyway in the world if you have roaming mobile line. This is a bit scary because you have lost all the privacy.
From the look of it, it may be a standard item for future SIM card.
