During CommunicAsia 2010, Rednano booth caught my attention. It is quite a small booth and with a TV screen that says Liveview Directory Search Service. There wasn’t much else. However, when I talked to them, I realized that this may be the next big thing in Singapore, especially, with Mapking and Augmented Reality incorporated.

Received this Press Release from NAVTEQ. Was invited to the event but unable to make it. This year, a Singaporean team was actually inside this competition, Surround Networks Pte. Ltd. (www.surroundnetworks.com). Nevertheless, it did not win the competition.

I guess by the time I write this post, this App would have already been taken out from the Android Marketplace. Wikitude has added their latest Wikitude Drive app to the Marketplace. From Engadget, only 2000 people will get this beta app free. The official app release date is still unknown.

iPhone will get free Turn-by-Turn Navigation on Google Maps. However, the information falls short on when Google will implement it.
