Google Maps Gets Updated on Android, Now with Train Schedule

2010 NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge Winners Announced for APAC

Received this Press Release from NAVTEQ. Was invited to the event but unable to make it. This year, a Singaporean team was actually inside this competition, Surround Networks Pte. Ltd. (www.surroundnetworks.com). Nevertheless, it did not win the competition.

Upgrade for BlackBerry Google Maps

Have you check for Google Maps update lately on your BlackBerry browser? Chances is that there is an upgrade for it. According to Mashable, Google upgraded the maps for BlackBerry to Version 4.0. Now, it has Buzz, voice search, Labs and etc. Let me know if yours can be upgraded :) .

Google Maps Now has Labs with Cool New Features

If you use Gmail, you will be familar with Labs. Normally, Google would test out cool features and will let them be available in Labs. Users will then have the option to activate them.

Now, Google Maps comes with Labs. It has 9 new features that you can enhance on your map.

Go to Google Maps now and you should be able to see the green logo.

Google Maps for Mobile Integrated with Buzz

Following the introduction of Google Buzz, it seems that many things are linked to Buzz. Now, Google Maps for mobile are integrated with Buzz. However, not all functions can be used at the moment. Android phones (with OS 2.0 and above) and iPhone enjoy the most functions. The rest will have to wait.
