Google China Treats Staff to Watch Avatar

Is this another way to spike China? Google is treating China staff to watch Avatar, amid the talk of closing down its office in China. Anyway, if I am a Google staff in China, I would have no mood to watch it. Google China has threatened to close its office after Google was being “attacked” and some information of some activists was being taken during the attack.

The company bought more than 200 tickets for the blockbuster and allowed staff members to take the afternoon off on Thursday to see it, the Beijing Youth Daily reported on Friday.

China Tank Man Picture Available at Google.cn

After Google announced that they may unfilter search engine results in China, the iconic Tank Man picture at Tiananmen appeared at Google.cn website. This may be one way the Google wanted to show China how they can defy China censorship.
