Fusion Garage’s JooJoo Tablet Goes Ahead with Production, Says Press Release

Posted on 04 February 2010 by Joe Teh

Seems like nothing is going to stop Fusion Garage from production its controversial JooJoo Tablet. Not even a lawsuit that could potentially stop FG from producing it. It seems that with the announcement of Apple iPad, JooJoo pre-order increases instead of decrease. I guess many are unhappy with Apple’s iPad that seems to possess certain limitation (ie. Flash support). Anyway, FG move ahead with a Press Release to announce its move to full production of JooJoo Tablet and also the introduction of an investment from a company in Malaysia. Details after the break.

New Fusion Garage JooJoo Pictures, Now with Dock

Posted on 13 December 2009 by Joe Teh

With Fusion Garage being sued by TechCrunch, I thought the people of FG would take a step backward. It seems not. FG has revamped its website with more pictures of JooJoo. It now has a dock as an accessories. I think it is nice and according to Engadget, it costs only US$29.99. Some more pics after the break.

Fusion Garage JooJoo Tablet Hands On – Video Within

Posted on 09 December 2009 by Joe Teh

No, I did not get to hands on a JooJoo. Although Fusion Garage is a Singapore company, it chooses to open its market to the US (which is big, of course) and the hands on videos are from Engadget and Gizmodo. Surprisingly, both have mentioned that the JooJoo is a solid device. However, the keyboard is something that is of minimal use and the pricing is something to ponder about.

Is CrunchPad Dead, Missing or Just Disappear?

Posted on 01 December 2009 by Joe Teh

I have been following closely on this CrunchPad news. One of the reason is because a Singapore company is behind it (Fusion Garage). The story of CrunchPad started with TechCrunch envisioning a tablet device that can surf the net comfortably. Their dream almost came true.. until recently (17th November) that they realize Fusion Garage has a different agenda.
