Singtel Grid Girls has been a highlight from past year Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix. Today, Singtel held a Press Conference to reveal the top 12 Grid Girls. The event was held at Fullerton Bay Hotel. There were only a handful of bloggers (you know who you are) and the rest are media. Here is a shot of the 11 Grid Girls (one of them is absent).

Attended today’s Singtel Press Conference on the 12 finalist of the Singtel F1 Grid Girls. It was a short event. However, many stayed back to interview them or have some photo session with them. I will post those pics afterwards. Here is the Press Release. Prizes and tickets to race could be won.

If you have not gotten the tickets to Beyonce and Black Eyed Peas performance during the F1 Rocks Singapore concert, you are in luck. LG is releasing 200 tickets for this concert. And the first 10 will get the ticket free and the next 50 will get a special goodie bags. In April, while at the Acer Smart Handheld launch, I was given a sneak preview of Acer “coming soon” handsets. One of them is the Acer F1. It has a slim factor and more importantly, it has a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. Recently, HTC Leo has been appearing in sneak “previews”. It also has the same processor, giving Acer F1 a real fight if both are to be launched. We have seen many videos of HTC Leo. Now it is about time to see how good the Acer F1 is. During the Acer Smart Handheld launch in Singapore in April, we were given a glimpse of the F1 phone (on a slide) that is supposed to be using Snapdragon (1GHz) processor. Finally, Acer F1 has been revealed in Taiwan Computex running a Windows Mobile 6.5 with the Snapdragon processor. It seems to be very smooth in the video. Video links after the break.
