Canon teases with a 4K (yes, 4K and that is about 4x more than current 1080p) camera that basically shoots still and video. I guess Canon is working towards this Wonder Camera concept.

Canon Releases Powershot S95, SX130IS, SD4500IS, Records HD Video

Canon releases a few camera Powershot models, S95, SX130IS, SD4500IS. One of them that captures me is Canon Powershot S95. It is an enhancement from the previous S90 model. It comes with HD video recording, Hybrid Image stabilizing for Macro shots and also built in HDR (High Dynamic Range).
