The Acer Liquid with Qualcomm Snapdragon™ processor-based and first Android™ 1.6 high definition smartphone, will be sold here from Thursday, 11 March 2010, by all mobile operators in Singapore.
The Liquid retails at S$788 (w/o contract), and will be available at the special price of S$688 (S$100 off) for the first 20 customers daily at the IT Show, to be held at Suntec Singapore from 11-14 March. The Acer Smartphones will be available at Level 6, booth number 6711. Specs and information after the break.

Slashgear is lucky to have the latest HTC Legend on their hand. They did a very good unboxing and a short walkthrough on the HTC Legend’s Android OS. New things that can be found on the Legend is FriendStream and the overall view of the homepages. One thing that is very different from previous HTC phones is that the battery is inserted from the bottom and the SIM card slot is not obstructed by the battery. Enjoy the video after the break.

Surprise, surprise. HTC was slap with a lawsuit of over 20 patent infringement by Apple. I guess this action caught HTC by surprise. From Engadget updates, the lawsuit targets more on Android. As for Windows Phone, Apple is targeting at the DSP used in them.

TAT (The Astonishing Tribe) has done a prototype of Augment Reality ID concept. It uses Polar Rose Facelib software to recognize faces and added social networking information onto the person. So, when you point your camera phone to a person, the software will try to recognize the face. You will need to join Recognizer service to upload your pictures to get recognized.
