I guess many people are interested in what Singtel has to offer after their announcement of the Lifestyle Mobile Apps. Here are some screenshots and explanation of the three apps.

Second App

Go! Shopping
Access accurate indoor maps at major shopping malls in Singapore.
Accurate routing between stores to help users save time and easily navigate their way around the mall.
Shopping mall information and contact details with store listing.
Property Buddy
Find the latest information on properties that are up for sale and recently transacted sales within 1 to 3km radius.
View the search results via augmented reality view or via a list view. Find detailed listing of properties, including the latest transacted prices.
Search options include residence type, district and price range.

3rd App

Price Pal
Price Pal help shoppers compare prices of books, groceries and petrol.
Retrieve product information and user reviews by scanning a bar code with the phone’s camera.
The search function enables users to get information such as book reviews.

Spira Foam Car is light weight at around 300 pounds. The frame is made of reinforced foam. So, it might be a live saver if someone is hit by it. However, if it is hit by a heavy vehicle, I don’t think it can withstand much of the impact.

Volkswagen latest slogan, Think Blue, was all over at Auto China 2010. One of the attraction, in my opinion, is this VW Bik.e. It is a folding electric bike that you can easily put into a car trunk (demonstrated in the video). I think that the design is sleek and with its light weight, it will definitely appeal to many. However, I doubt it will be able to get approval in Singapore.

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I was invited to this “Million Acts of Green Campaign” organized by ECO (Environmental Challenge Organisation). The event was held at Singapore Science Centre, in conjunction with Earth Day which falls on 22nd April. One of the main highlight in this event is the launch of a new website where people can use action to signify their “act” of green.
