SINGAPORE–Apr. 1, 2017— Today, Amazon with exclusive affiliate partner iPrice Singapore premieres the first screenshots of the all new and exciting online shopping platform: Amazon.sg. Slated to be launched late 2017, millions of local and international products will be made available to Singaporeans with same-day delivery service throughout the city-state. Maintaining the ethos of Amazon, the new e-commerce platform in Singapore will be guided by four principles: customer obsession rather than competitor focus, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking.

Partnering Amazon in this new endeavor is iPrice, a meta-search website in seven major countries in Southeast Asia as Amazon’s prime affiliate partner. With similar values and vision for ecommerce in Southeast Asia, iPrice’s partnership with Amazon will empower the Seattle based company with the needed marketing channels to aggressively market its products and services to the competitive ecommerce sector.

DO YOU BELIEVE WHAT YOU HAVE READ?

Today is April’s Fool day. I do not believe there is such thing as MerlionEcho, especially the product page. And if you click on to the celebrities testimonial, you only get Chen Tian Wen’s “Unbelievable” song.

However, in the Press Release, AWS (Amazon Web Service) Summit is real. If you read the content, iPrice, which produce the Press Release, is the official affiliate Amazon partner. Nothing from Amazon.

There was news that Amazon might arrive in Singapore in Q1 2017. However, this Press Release is by iPrice, an online price comparison portal that redirect you to other online sites. And get this, it says the same thing on Malaysia website (iprice.my)

Do you still believe it? I search the web for authencity of this news and no mainstream media is reporting it. If you still believe, go on.. Kthxbye.
