Xiaomi finally has a physical shop in Singapore. Mi Home store, in partnership with ECS, is located at Suntec City Mall. And Xiaomi also announced the launch of Redmi 3S and Mi Band 2 in Singapore. Products you can find in the store are Mi Air Purifier, Mi Smart Scale, Mi Power Bank, Mi Band Pulse, Mi Bluetooth Speaker, and Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro.

Xiaomi announces opening of Mi Home in Singapore in partnership with ECS

Also announces launch of Redmi 3S, Mi Band 2 and official online store on Lazada

SINGAPORE, 7 October 2016 — Leading consumer technology company Xiaomi announced today the opening of its Mi Home store in Singapore in partnership with ECS, as well as an official Xiaomi online store on Lazada. It also announced the launch of Redmi 3S and Mi Band 2 in Singapore, which will be available at Mi Home starting today for S$219 and S$49.90 respectively.

Mi Home is Xiaomi’s retail store and experience centre featuring a range of Xiaomi products, including those that have not been launched here in Singapore. The opening of Mi Home in Singapore marks Xiaomi’s first move into the offline retail space in the country, as users can now purchase smartphones — Mi Max, Mi 5, Redmi 3S and Redmi Note 3 — and a selection of Mi Ecosystem products at the store.

Priced at S$219, Redmi 3S is crafted with a premium metal body and has a 5-inch HD display. Despite being extremely lightweight at only 144g, Redmi 3S can power through up to two days of regular usage thanks to its large, high-density 4100mAH battery. The 13MP rear camera on Redmi 3S comes with PDAF (phase detection autofocus) for faster focusing, and supports 1080P video recording.

At the same time, a Lazada official Xiaomi online store will begin operation today, with fulfillment by ECS. Mi fans will be able to purchase a range of smartphones and accessories including the latest Redmi 3S. Redmi 3S will also be available at Challenger outlets and M1.
