Borneo Motors (Official distributor of Toyota) unveiled the latest Toyota Alphard and Toyota Vellfire last Friday at General Aviation Centre, Seletar Aerospace Park, Singapore. What a location to celebrate the unveiling of these two luxurious MPVs that Toyota touted as vehicles for “First Class Travel”.
Our host for the night is non other than Bobby Tonelli.
Ms Adelene Tan, Commercial Director, Toyota, giving us a welcome speech.
And finally, the unveiling of the two MPVs, Toyota Alphard and the Toyota Vellfire.
In my opinion, the Toyota Alphard will make a statement when you drive on the road with its distinct look.
Here is the Vellfire.
Both of them have similar specs. Read on for more details.
As I am more interested in the Alphard, most of the pictures are from it. BTW. Two (human) models 🙂 represent the contrast of the Alphard and Vellfire.
Close up of one of the models. Love the backlighting that highlights her hair.
Giving a detailed overview of the two MPVs.
Head-on look of the Toyota Vellfire.
Below is the Toyota Alphard. I love the unusual design of the Alphard. It does not have the usual Toyota logo and it is “loud”.
Here is the Gear box of the Alphard.
One of the greatest highlights in Toyota vehicles this year will be the inTouch Telematics System. The 7-inch (MID (Multi Information Display) allows you to connect to your smart devices wirelessly.
Some of the “GrandDeluxe” touches of the Alphard. On the front passenger seat, you can hold your beverage by the touch of a button.
Look at the arm rest/ console box. Super big! When it is closed.
When it is opened.
The back seats are also super comfy with electric controlled adjustment.
There are also nice touches like handle bars for grabbing when going up or down the vehicle.
On the seat, there is also a personal cup holder.
In front of the back seats (2nd row), you can see a big compartment for you to store your things.
When it is opened.
Above the seat is the moon roof. You can control it and the air conditioning with these buttons.
Here is the awkward view I took to show you the moon roof and the LED lighting. You can also see another “box” where you can install a display for viewing.
On the side, you can also turn on the side light.
A look at the third row (when folded).
I did not fully fold the seats. But I saw that the Vellfire has already been folded nicely. Here is how it looks like on a Vellfire. Super spacious to carry more things.
They actually got a private jet in display together with the two MPVs to emphasize the point: “First Class Travel”. Too bad, the weather is not good on that day. I did not take any pictures of them.
And here are some information taken from the Press Release.

That is it. If you are interested, I urge you to head down to the show room to have a better look. My pictures do not do justice to both the MPVs. For pricing, please check with the sales person. Of course you can check their website for their pricing too.
Thank you Toyota for the invite. Looking forward to the next event.
