Has there been a time when you wanted to use your mouse or remote controllers but they are out of battery juice? I am sure you have such moments. That is why I started using rechargeable batteries (actually not really recommended for appliances with low voltage/current rating). This morning, my mouse just went dead and I have to recharge my batteries with the specified charger. Inconvenience to the max.
Now, I found a good solution on Kickstarter Project. It is called Lightors. They looked like ordinary batteries but they are in fact Nickel-Hydride battery that has a capacity of 1500mAh (for AA size) and 600mAh (for AAA size).
What is awesome is that they have a built in Micro USB port for you to charge them. Now, anyone with a USB port and a Micro-USB cable can charge them. It may not be a new innovation but I don’t remember seeing one with Micro-USB port. I have seen one that can charge with USB port but not sure with its rating.
Anyway, the project is currently on Kickstarter and has reached pass its required US$15,000 mark (currently at slightly below US$48K). So, if you hurry up, you can get this interesting gadget.
