Panasonic is releasing an Android smartphone (yes, smartphone) with a 1-inch image sensor, 20MPX camera. That 1-inch sensor is equivalent to some high-end Micro Four Thirds and prosumer cameras. It is packed into a small body that runs on Android KitKat (Android 4.4).
If you compare it in the market, I think only one smartphone can match it. It is the Samsung GALAXY K Zoom. However, it may not a fair comparison because this Lumix CM1 has a 1-inch sensor while the GALAXY K Zoom has only a consumer standard size image sensor (just 1/2.3″ sensor).
Here is the intro video.
Looking further into the specs (in German), I could not see a zoom factor. Hopefully I am wrong. If it has just digital zoom and no optical zoom, I guess it has lost my interest already.
