With the Enhanced S Health1, the new GALAXY S5 LTE empowers users to pledge commitment towards a healthier lifestyle by allowing them to set fitness goals. When users enter age, height and weight, it will recommend a customised daily calorie intake.
Enhanced S Health comes with a comprehensive personal fitness tracker (pedometer, calorie intake and physical activities tracking, built-in Heart Rate Sensor1), which helps users to monitor, manage and challenge their workout routines. - MapMyFitness – Built to help runners, joggers and walkers of all ability levels and ages. Easily track pace, distance, calories and time with audio alerts and much more. Track running, cycling, and over 600 types of other activities. GALAXY S5 LTE users receive free 6-month ad-free MVP access (worth S$45).

In addition, Samsung rewards GALAXY S5 LTE users with exclusive content deals that will enhance their well-being through GALAXY Life2, a mobile application preloaded on the GALAXY S5 LTE. Capturing and saving precious memories is one of the most important smartphone features today. The new GALAXY S5 LTE offers superior camera functionality, featuring a 16 megapixel camera with an enhanced menu and user interface that allow consumers to effortlessly take, edit and share photos.
The GALAXY S5 LTE also offers fast Auto Focus, at up to 0.3 seconds. With its advanced Real Time HDR (Rich Tone), the GALAXY S5 LTE is capable of reproducing natural light and colour with striking intensity in any circumstances. In addition, the new Selective Focus feature allows users to focus on a specific area of an object while simultaneously blurring out the background. With this capability, consumers no longer need a special lens kit to create a shallow depth of field (DOF) effect.

The GALAXY S5 LTE has qualified protection from water and dust (IP673), so you never have to leave the device at home during a long day at the beach or a dusty hike. When used with approved Samsung back covers and with the multipurpose jack closed tightly, the rubber-sealed design helps to keep dust particles out and protect against harmful ingress of water for up to 30 minutes of submergence at a depth of one metre3. Equipped with a water resistant earphone jack, the GALAXY S5 LTE frees you to use earphones above water when the phone is wet or in water3.
Enhanced security at a swipe
In partnership with PayPal, GALAXY S5 users will be the first to be able to login and shop at any merchant that accepts PayPal on mobile and in-stores using only their fingerprint as authentication. This new secure, biometric feature means GALAXY S5 LTE users will no longer need to remember passwords or login details across millions of PayPal merchants.
The new Fingerprint Security feature also allows users to access personal content in Private Mode and unlock their GALAXY S5 LTE with convenience at the swipe of a finger.
Stay connected on the go without losing power
Extend your remaining 10% battery life with up to 30 hours’ worth of standby time when you enable Ultra Power Saving Mode4. You will no longer need to worry about being uncontactable when you are unable to charge your battery. When the feature is enabled, GALAXY S5 LTE’s essential apps such as phone and SMSes will still be available, while all unnecessary features will be shut down to minimise battery consumption.
