Casio Welcomes New G-SHOCK RANGEMAN to Tackle Survival Situations in Style

RANGEMAN GW-9400 is Casio’s First G-SHOCK with Triple Sensor Functionality

Singapore, 9 December 2013 — CASIO Singapore welcomes the RANGEMAN, the brand’s latest addition to its line of shock resistant G-SHOCK timepieces. The RANGEMAN GW-9400 is the first G-SHOCK watch constructed with triple sensors that measure compass bearing, temperature, altitude and atmospheric pressure meant to support wearers even in survival situations.

The RANGEMAN joins Casio G-SHOCK’s premium ‘Master of G’ series of timepieces specially designed to endure and perform in the most extreme environments, making it the ideal partner for users with an active lifestyle and an appetite for adventure. The GW-9400 is water, dust, rust and mud-resistant and enables to user to make the right decisions by calculating data such as weather or direction extracted based on its triple sensor function.

“At Casio we are committed to constantly pushing the limit in delivering stylish toughness and technology in all our timepieces. The Rangeman GW-9400 is indeed the perfect combination of innovation, cutting-edge technology and rugged performance making it an excellent choice for anyone whose profession or activities demand unfailing reliability,” said Mr Kotani Koyu, Assistant General Manager, Timepiece Division, Casio Singapore.

The triple sensors in the Rangeman GW-9400 provide rich functionality and give the user the ability to navigate through unforgiving terrains with limited visibility and help to forecast sudden changes in weather using the barometric information.
