Snapseed latest update adds HDR Scape and Shadows features

The free photo editing app, Snapseed, was updated this early morning (Android). With the update, it adds two new features. they are HDR Scape and Shadows (in the Tune Image option).

Here is the screenshot with the” Shadows” feature.

I tried out these two features in an old image which I feel is not good. Surprisingly, it came out quite well. This is the original image (after image size reduction and adding the QR code watermark)

This is the “after” image after using the “HDR Scape”, “Drama”, “Shadows”, “Contrast” features in Snapseed. It looks nicer, right?

Actually, the algorithm for the HDR is quite good (and it is free) although not all images can use this feature. I believe this update is part of the Google+ update that Google announced this morning. So, please remember to update the Snapseed app to enjoy these features.

PS: If you zoom in this pictures, they are not “clean”. There are noise. It depends on your camera. I am using HTC One that has only 4 Megapixels.
